You must be wondering what is required to register for a class or when getting driver’s license. When you come to register for a class; you will need the following:
- Your Kansas ID, Green Card, I-94, or Birth certificate (One of these).
- Your Social Security Card.
- Proof of address: Two letters that have your name or and address where you live. (If you are under 18, you will need to come with one of your parents and should bring two proofs of address with their name on it and the address where you both live.)
Those three documents are required to fully register for the desired class date. Will I also be required to submit all of these to the DMV when I go get my License? Absolutely Yes. The DMV is very strict when it comes to providing documentation, especially for immigrants.
